On weekends when our Goring boat trips are running we are offering a shuttle service from Caversham to Goring on Friday afternoon and then back again on Sunday early evening. Join the boat in either direction and enjoy the slow pace of the Thames. A ferry service to the country or part of a weekend hiking leaving the car behind!
Cruising on the Thames at a genteel pace through some of the most stunning countryside this cruise is a treat. Departing from Caversham Pier, we head upstream through Mapledurham Lock and into our second reach to Pangbourne. Passing under Whitchurch toll bridge and into the lock the following reach widens, before navigating Gatehampton Bridge and arriving at Goring Lock.
The crew will be on hand to serve drinks from the bar and to assist with questions about the river.
