Take an afternoon round-trip cruise from Sonning Mill

The Sonning loop cruise is a perfect mid-week chance to get afloat for an hour long cruise from Sonning Mill.
Wherever possible this service will be on our Little Ship of Dunkirk, Devon Belle. She oozes character and is a a great river viewing platform packed full of her own history.
Sonning Loop cruises start and end form Sonning Mill in the mill stream to the rear of the Mill. Sonning Mill is a theatre, dinner and afternoon tea venue, find out more here.
This sailing departs the hidden Mill stream tucked away down a narrow channel (a great photo opportunity) before passing a boat club and sailing up river towards Reading. We will pass the mouth of the Kennet and then on to Caversham Lock and Weir (when there is enough flow you will be able to see the power generating Archimedes screw) before returning back down river to Sonning.
There is an option to disembark this boat at Caversham Lock. Please purchase a single ticket for this option. We are unable to offer wheelchair access from Sonning Mill due to the boarding position.
You can check the full lineup of live events at the Mill here.
