About the

Devon Belle

The Devon Belle has a special place in our fleet, she is a piece of floating history having taken part in operation Dynamo to rescue troops from the beaches of Dunkirk. Devon Belle (known as Seymour Castle in her earlier life) has all the character of an historic vessel but has been fitted with the conveniences of a modern boat.

We sailed her from Plymouth in 1999 and undertook the first of several refits to make suitable for the Thames. Her wide foredeck and open top deck make her the best boat we have for photography, and our very own Dunkirk Little Ship is available for party charter as well as destination cruises. She has a fully equipped, onboard bar and is a popular, intimate choice for wedding drinks, tour groups or a jazz afternoon on the river.
