Whitchurch Lock

Whitchurch Lock is rather similar to Mapledurham Estate, you don't know it is there but are pleased when you find out! The lock has no public access other than by boat, which is part of the charm, there is more though, it has a cute rural village feel. One of the smaller Thames locks, it is paired to a weir that spans the width of the river and heading upstream marks the start of one of the longest reaches of the river. Those on a cruise to Goring or Beale Park will pass through Whitchurch Lock and we know you will like the charm.
