New for the 2026 season, a cruise for the inquisitive, we transit both Goring and Cleeve Locks before entering one of the longest reaches on the Thames that will take up all the way to Wallingford. Historically this route was covered by steam boats plying their trade form Kingston to Oxford and we are now opening up the passage once again, allbeit it as a round trip
The cruise wherever possible will be on our own Little Ship of Dunkirk, Devon Belle, she has covered, open and enclosed spaces and glides along the water with an air of history and intrigue about her. Throughout the 2.5 hour cruise the skipper and crew will point out highlights and explain about the history of the river, including bridges, riverside wharfs, ferry points and pubs. You will also see a variety of riverside homes and of course Wallingford (a great spot for photos).
Our bar will be open onboard with hot and cold drinks as well as snacks.
