60 Minute River Trip

Thames Experience 60 Minute Round Trip Cruise

A brand new cruise, ideal for families, the 6o minute meander leaves Caversham behind and heads to the countryside reaching two islands – Apletree Eyot  and Poplar Island.

About This Cruise

This cruise is new for the revised 2020 season aimed at those who want to get a little further afield but may have a family not yet ready for a longer cruise.

The meander is a great wildlife cruise and keeps children entertained  with varied scenery. After leaving the Caversham Reach we enter the Kentwood Reach and will navigate around two little known islands before turning and heading back down river.

Just long enough to really get a feel for the river and just short enough to keep those with a short attention span entertained, you will have the chance to enjoy onboard refreshments fr0m the bar and get that river air.

We have also highlighted key points below. If at any time you are unsure or feel you need assistance please don’t hesitate to speak to the skipper or crew on your vessel – they are there for your safety.
