Pangbourne River Trips

The Pangbourne Cruise

This river trip departs from our mooring point on Pangbourne Meadows near Pangbourne Bridge (Look out for the Boat Stop Sign). We have three sailings 12.15, 13.15 and 14.15 on selected Thursdays during the summer school holidays. This cruise will last approximately 45 minutes and gives you a chance to explore the beauty of the stretch of river from Pangbourne towards Mapledurham. This is a great chance for young and old to explore the scenery, spot wildlife and get afloat. As with all our cruises, there will be a full bar onboard.

On the way back you will get a great chance to photograph Whitchurch Toll Bridge from the water (one of only two toll bridges on the Thames and incorporating the 1902 structure after a recent upgrade to keep it in position for many years to come).

Timetable

Pangbourne Meadows Cruises depart at 12.15, 13.15  and 14.15 on – 23rd July, 30th July, 6th August, 13th August and 20th August

Departure Point

All cruises will depart from our mooring point near Whitchurch Bridge. There is a public car park next to the Adventure Dolphin centre and a footpath from there to the river. You will find a Boat Stop sign marking our departure point on the riverside. The vessel will be clearly marked as Thames Rivercruise.

Wheelchair Access

Our fleet has a variety of accessibility levels and this boarding point is a grass river bank accessed from a footpath. Several of our boats are flat decked with good access and are wheelchair friendly however some boats used for this cruise are multi-deck and have stairs for access with limitations on door widths. We recommend giving the office a quick call on 01189 481088 to discuss your requirements and we can advise on the best options for you or your guests and confirm which vessel will be in use on a certain sailing.
