Thames Dining

Dine on the Thames – Sunday Lunch is brought to you in association with CaperBerry & Daniel Knowlson, a chef trained to Michelin level who has worked as a private chef around the world and in high profile eateries and London kitchens including The Mandarin Oriental and The Saatchi Gallery. Now back to his Berkshire roots Daniel brings a new down to earth yet worldly flair to Sunday Lunch.

The cruise will board at our Caversham Pier landing stage from 13.00. Guests are welcomed onboard and can choose to spend some time on the foredeck with a pre-lunch drink from the bar before being seated. We will slip the mooring lines promptly at around 13.15 and cruise up river returning around 15.45.

Spot birds and wildlife as the boat follows the twist and turns of the river towards Mapledurham whilst waiting and bar staff will serve lunch. We hold a carefully matched selection of wines and other drinks onboard to match your menu choice.

Space onboard is limited so we recommend booking early. You will be asked shortly after making your reservation for your choice of main course, this helps our chefs choose to hold the correct amounts of only the freshest ingredients in our small galley space.
