Trip 2 – Round trip to Pangbourne

These trips are available only on weekdays for Groups, Tour & Coach Operators. Exclusive use of vessel. All cruises require a minimum of 40 persons.

Times: approx 3 hours

Take a trip to the twin villages of Pangbourne and Whitchurch passing by Purley on Thames and the Elizabethan Manor at Mapledurham with its working Watermill. Through Mapledurham Lock witness the amazing scenery that inspired Kenneth Graham to write Wind in the Willows. Imagine the antics of Rat, Mole and Toad on the riverbank as you view the Manor Houses of Mapledurham & Hardwick which could well have been Toad Hall.

This cruise can be adapted for visitors to disembark at Mapledurham House or Watermill and it is possible to add a meal or entertainment package to make this a stunning day out on the Thames.
