Introduction guide to booking a menu with Thames River Cruise catering

Thames Rivercruise have been providing an extensive range of menus for over 31 years, and this menu list is specifically designed to suit the vessels and the majority of party requirements. Our aim is to provide exactly what our customers require within the constraints of the boats. However, if you would like to alter the menus in any way, we would be happy to discuss with you alternative options.

As per our terms of hire we do not allow anyone to bring on board their own food or drink, although we make an exception for celebration cakes, this facility is not chargeable unless you wish us to supply plates, serviettes or any other incidental costs. If you have ordered a meal where catering staff are on board, they will be delighted to cut and serve the cake for you.

 

When ordering your menu, please follow these guidelines;
A) Chose only ONE menu for the whole party and please specify by the CODE indicated. Please note that according to catering and entertainment requirements boat capacities may have to be altered accordingly.
B) We offer a full range of optional extras to add to any of the buffets.
C) Final numbers for catering requirements should be notified at least 7 days in advance, at our discretion only we can sometimes accept changes up to 4 working days prior to booking.
D) If you wish to order wine to compliment your meal, please refer to the wine list provided. All wines offered must be paid for in advance. We cannot accept orders on sale or return basis other than house wines. May we respectfully remind you that no drink may be bought on board by customers.
E) All our menus are based on a minimum of twenty-five guests. If you have less than this, a surcharge of £50.00 will be added to cover the additional costs.
F) All prices quoted are per person and include VAT.
G) The Caversham Princess and the Princess Marina Cruising Restaurants are ideal for business lunches and more formal occasions.

During the month of December a traditional 3 course Christmas Menu is available.

Cancellation
Cancellation of catering arrangements made with 7 days notice will receive a full refund. With 2-5 days notice, a 50% refund and with 48 hours or less, full payment will be required. For all buffets extra staff can be supplied at a supplement.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUERIES PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK!

Although we endeavour to keep to the menus created, it may be necessary, due to seasonal demands and supplies, to alter the menus or increase the price accordingly. This will only be done if absolutely necessary.

VAT is charged at 17.5% and is included in the price.
