All cruises board at the River and Rowing Museum landing stage, easily reached from Henley station or a short walk from the town centre. Day time cruises include complimentary Pimms or Prosecco and will take you through Henley Bridge and down the race course, getting you super close to the rowing action. Passing the iconic Temple Island we will then turn in open water, glimpse the start line and head back towards the finish at Leander

During the day you can choose from two sailings, 11am or 2pm.  The Princess Marina has been restored to her 1930’s glory, is an exclusive viewing platform with full bar onboard. Guest numbers are limited to 40 per sailing, with skilled crew and waiting staff on hand to make  your day perfect.

Saturday night fireworks at Henley Regatta are not to be missed,  we assure you they should be best seen from the water. A family friendly event, we will board at 8.30pm from the River & Rowing Museum, sail down under Henley Bridge and cruise in to an ideal position down river to get a front row seat for the fireworks. A full bar will be on board and in good weather the roof will be rolled back as well as access to an open foredeck.

The Details

General Information
  • This service is for pre purchased tickets only.
  • You can choose from two day time sailings on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of Henley Regatta 2017 plus a fireworks cruise on Saturday
  • Day time tickets include a complimentary drink per person, either Prosecco or Pimms
  • All of our boats have a bar with soft drinks, hot drinks and alcoholic drinks as well as bar snacks.
  • Our boats are equipped with full central heating and toilet facilities.
Sailing & Boarding Times
  • There are two sailing on each day of operation, at 11:00 and 14:00 hrs. Each cruise will last around two hours.
  • The Saturday night fireworks cruise will depart at 20:30hrs and will not commence boarding until 15 minutes prior to departure. as there are other vessels using the departure point. We aim to back alongside the landing stage after the fireworks at 23.30 hrs
  • Due to the level of river traffic during the regatta we will need to depart the landing stage on time and are unlikely to be able to return prior to the end of the scheduled trip
  • We will be boarding guests from the Henley River and Rowing Museum Landing Stage on the river bank just outside the museum.
Disabled/Limited Mobility Access
  • The Princess Marina is a single deck boat built in the 1930’s. Once onboard the deck of the boat has only minor ledges under doors. Access at the doorway is limited and we recommend you contact us prior to booking to discuss your requirements.
  • All our vessels carry ramps to assist with wheelchair access, our staff are trained and the boarding point is flat, but as stated above the doorway can be a problem. We try hard to accommodate all guests as comfortably as possible but where are operating The Princess Marina there are some limitations due to her original design. Please call to discuss your requirements prior to booking.
Travel & Directions
  • We board from Henley River and Rowing Museum Landing stage which is on the river bank outside the museum. The cruise is not related to the museum and we are kindly using the boarding point with their permission, as such we do need to stay to our timetable.
  • There is parking nearby but during the regatta this is very busy and can not be guaranteed. If parking elsewhere in Henley the walk to the museum is level and considered easy along the river bank.
  • We recommend using the train, Henley railway station is very close by and has a regular service during the regatta.

Terms & Restrictions
  • We ask that you book in advance for trips during Henley Regatta.
  • Dress is smart casual and we do reserve the right to refuse entry.
  • All tickets are sailing time specific and due to limited capacity can not be swapped between sailing times
  • You are reserving a space, for this special occasion tickets are non refundable
